I am coming back. This site and this blog have been neglected far too long - almost five years since the last new design and over a year and a half since the move to the new domain. The Forums are fully up and running and the site will have a brand new focus to it. The existing Diablo II stories will be staying but all the other (unfinished) content will be out. Instead, this site is now proud to announce itself as home to The BLS Coin Collectors Club and its long and storied history. As soon as the appropriate pages are up, the Coin Club will be open for business for the first time since the mid 1990s!

Well, the site is back, as you can see! Sorry it's been gone for so long. I've had a hell of a lot of Real Life(TM) concerns from family to work and back again. However, I'm here for the time being and hopefully will be for the foreseeable future!

I've been playing a lot of Path of Exile and Stellaris lately when I've had the free time and as a result - plus the aforementioned life stuff - I neglected Diablo II for a long time. All my Battle.net accounts and characters went poof into the ether of digital oblivion - including a large number of donated items and accounts! - so I've had to start from scratch all over again. However, the formerly-named "SweetSpearGirl" finally got a proper name, so everybody say hello to Sarissa the Spearazon! (The name is appropriate in more ways than one; it fits well within the Amazons' Greek-esque names and is also here on earth the name for a type of long spear used by Greek hoplites.)

Well, the best laid plans, as they say. A hard drive crash has forced me to reconsider said plans, thanks to the fact of losing much of the formerly unpublished SweetSpearGirl material that was going to make up the 'Snippets' section of the site. Also lost are a great many screenshots and other files related to Gemstone. Some of these can be recreated; others will have to wait until professonals have examined the broken drive. This will delay certain sections of the site from coming online.

In the meantime however, enjoy the Forums!

Right now, there's not much here, but this will become a personal blog of sorts for things that don't fit into Site News.
